Example of email settings

This is an example of email settings that you should use to send/receive email using your domain name. Please replace "your domain" with the actual domain name that you have on your web hosting account.

 =============================================

incoming email server: yourdomain.com
outgoing mail server: yourdomain.com
username: sally@yourdomain.com (the full email address)
authentication: password
SSL: un-check this box
Outgoing mail server - Use default ports (25,465, 587)

==============================================

Also, be sure that your company does not have a firewall which might be blocking your connection to the email server. If so, please do a trace route and send us a picture of the output. This KB article explains how to do a trace route. Please save it as .jpg or .gif format and attach to a support ticket or email to us at support@greenhostit.com
